Up the Creek 2011
Once again, Up the Creek was a fantastic showcase of what SA music has to offer! With a maxed-out crowd, it was just awesome to see everyone getting down to true quality tunes all round. Having collectively been in the industry for quite a while, we can honestly say that we are so proud to be a part of what is going down on our very own soil – right here – right now! The music that is coming out of festivals like UTC, Daisies, Oppikoppi, Ramfest, Hazenvlakte (12 March) and from our northern, eastern and western brothers is top drawer material, and fast becoming – if not already – right up there with the best of them worldwide. Already with the likes of Die Antwoord and Jack Parow making huge inroads internationally, it’s just a matter of time before these next door boys and girls become next door superstars! Exciting times indeed my friends!
Also happy to announce that we have some new tunes in the pipeline. Not sure as to exactly when they will come out, but can definitely say that the creative wheels are being greased as we speak – we can’t wait!
